What is The Underground?

The Underground is an experience from start to finish.

An evening where the best of the best performers in the city share their artistic brilliance in an immersive experience for the audience.

Yes, you buy a ticket and you don’t know where you are going (til 24 hrs before) or what will happen, except the theme.

Yes, you get the location sent to you via text + email 24hrs before and you show up.

Yes, you are invited to dress up for the theme and no you are not out of place if you don’t. It is simply an invitation.

The Underground was created out of inspiration from the before times ~ when you would hear about something secret or epic and take a chance and go.

The show is also phone free… Why? Where else can you go out for a night to enjoy an evening without someone looking at their phone or pulling it out to record what’s happening?

The Underground is something that exists in the moment for those there to experience it.

Each Underground is different. Each show is unique.

When you purchase a ticket you receive an email confirmation, this your ticket and your name is added to the list at the door. Each venue is central to Halifax and accessible by transit.

Tickets are non-refundable. If you find you cannot attend please pass your ticket onto someone else.
